Drink water before...

Hey~ yesterday was crazy. I drank water Thursday night but not enough. We woke-up at 0315, got ready and headed to the range around 0400. I can not shoot an M16A2 therefore I was on the zeroing range for 3 hours drying out. I drank water, bottles of it, but failed to hydrate enough the night before and before I knew it I was no longer sweating and I got stuck with an IV. Heat casualty. Sucked 3 bags dry, had 2 bottles of water and one gatorade while I was trying to feel better. Needless to say I learned that no matter how much you think you are ok you really are not. Had a headache all day that lasted through the night and is still with me. I went to bed at 2000 and tried to sleep for 12 hours, but I was restless all night. That will teach me.

Today we cleaned weapons, had a squad meeting, I have another meeting at 1300 and 1700 so for now that is all. Hope you all have a great weekend!!! LOVE YOU!
