Cinco de Mayo
Well let's break down the EO (a.k.a. bitch at session) we just had for the last hour and a half. Does anyone know the difference between sympathy and empathy?
Sympathy: an affinity, association, or relationship between persons or things wherein whatever affects one similarly affects the other : mutual or parallel susceptibility or a condition brought about by it : unity or harmony in action or effect : inclination to think or feel alike : emotional or intellectual accord : feeling of loyalty : tendency to favor or support
Empathy: the action of understanding, being aware of, being sensitive to, and vicariously experiencing the feelings, thoughts, and experience of another of either the past or present without having the feelings, thoughts, and experience fully communicated in an objectively explicit manner; also : the capacity for this
Well apparently what I got from it is that everyone just wants everyone else to empathize each other. We are in the same situation but at the same time we are not. Some of us are single, engaged or married. Either way we all left loved ones behind. Instead of pointing fingers and stating,"I can't kiss my loved ones goodnight so why should a single person here beable to have a relationship and kiss their significant other goodnight when I can't?" You need to just keep your business your business. Yes it hurts to see people showing affection when you can't but it's no different than being at home and me watching you make-out and cuddle with your fiance. So instead of being a jealous freak just let it go!! You want me to empathize you here but do you do the same when you are at home???
Another fact: we CAN NOT change that we are here in Kuwait. We CAN NOT go out and "fight the war" whenever we want. So yes we do have pitiful gripes and complaints as compared to those getting shot at everyday but personally if I was getting shot at I would still have gripes and complaints, wouldn't you? Don't sit and tell me that you are frustrated by my complaints because you read the paper everyday and see the death toll. I read the paper and see the death toll too but I can not change it. I can only pray for them and for us that we may all get through the battle. Whether the battle be a physical reality or a psychological mind field.

Ouch! Who got caught doing too much PDA? The dictionary is a useful tool but to let off steam?
What happens in Kuwait stays in Kuwait? Well don't believe it and don't do anything you can't reconcile either with yourself or others.

Ok well whomever wrote this thanks for the advice, but when I speak it's not always for myself it's for those others that don't have the courage to do so themselves. maybe that's a downfall for me but I believe everyone has to be heard even if they can't do it themselves.

Everybody is suppose to be adults over there. If you know what you are doing and doing it safe, tell everyone else to grow up and fuck off. If they can't handle the PDA maybe they should look the other way and mind their own business.
