1 week!!!!
Hey! I am so excited I can't help myself... It's the 14th I will be on MN ground on the 21st!!!
The entire shift had off tonight so we went to country night and had a blast!!! Got some good pictures of it all. Not much else going on... I am just trying to figure out what to pack to bring home. I have accumulated too much stuff here. So what else is new, right?
Hope you all are great and can't wait to see most of you!!! MUAH!

Great things turn to DISASTER!
So tonight one of my buddies told me he was going to pick me up some Applebee's while he went off post. Didn't really believe him, but when he called to say he was here the girls and I were ecstatic. We couldn't believe we were going to have the opportunity to devour such scrumptious food. Well I was sharing because I just couldn't eat it in front of people and my kindness turned to poison. One of the guys I gave a bite to was allergic to seafood, I did not know this. So he ate a piece of shrimp and yeah I almost killed him. At the moment he is at the TMC because he had to get a shot. OMG I feel like Satan... So much for a great night and good food, it wasn't worth it.
3.5K x 101 degrees= 28 minutes!
Hey it's Tuesday July 12, 2005! I go home in 8 days!!!! Only for 2 weeks but it's still out of here for 20 days!!! Soooooooooooo excited!!!
Today Ashley and I went for a run. All things considered, we ran at my pace (about 5.5/6.0 mph), in 101 degree hot sun, windy, dusty for 3.5K (little over 2 miles) it took us 28 min. And I am DAMN proud of myself!!!!!!!!!!!
So nothing new here been working, not sleeping and day dreaming of home!! I can hardly wait to see EVERYONE that has been writing to me while I have been here. Thanks for all the support, it really sucks being away from home and civilization for the last 7 months. I know I am in Kuwait but it still sucks...
I am here with people I didn't even know before all this started, haven't seen any family or my best friends, can't eat the food I crave (Applebee's, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Old Spaghetti Factory, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chicago, Panda Garden, King's Wok, Arby's, McDonald's, Perkins, Grizzly's, etc), no driving a normal vehicle, no hugs, no kisses, no crying at good movies, no sense of what new movies even are, no t.v., no cold showers, no grass, no Thirsty Thursday, no getting mad at my parents just because they are making too much noise when I have a hangover, no dancing, no clubs, no seeing my nephew's first crawl or hearing the other one learn to count, no pouty faces because I wouldn't give him my cookie, no spilled milk, no sticky fingers, no crazy dog always jumping on me, no cats (Scooter & Lucky), no cuddling when I really need it, no pedicures, no chiropractor, no coffee and rolls after church on Sunday, no keeping up with what everyone else has been up too, no cute sandals for summer, no dresses or skirts (the wind is always blowing), no hot date Saturdays, no smells of fresh cut alfalfa, etc., etc. You never know how much you miss till it's all ripped away from you.
I hope everyone is doing good and the "hot" weather hasn't been getting to you, what it's maybe 90 there? LOL Miss you all, can't wait to see the majority of you!! XO
P.S. Joe~ Las Vegas is going to be a trip, especially with your broken

Great Day to be Alive...
Hey everyone... The 4th of July came and passed before I knew it. I did however have the night off of work so I watched "Remember the Alamo" and played cards with some friends till 0330. We all had a good time. Then the 5th there was a huge sandstorm that just wouldn't let up. The winds carried over to the 6th but as the night progressed into the 7th they subsided. I got my free complete exfoliation for the month. Chalk that one up for another free thing from the military!!! Not much else work and all is going good. The Puerto Rican unit working with us is awesome. They have some funny guys!! gotta love them!
Hope all is well at home. p.s. Joe, next time you decide to help with a house DON'T fall off of it and break your ankle!! 6 pins and a plate later... OMG! Get Well Soon, because we have Las Vegas waiting for us!!!
to all others take care... MUAH to the special people.
